Website terms.
These terms govern your use of johnsonbluegrasslaw.com. By using the site, you agree to them. They apply to the website only — not to any matter Johnson Legal PLLC handles for you under a written engagement letter.
Last updated: May 2, 2026.
How you may use the site.
You may read the content on this site, share links to its pages, and submit the intake or referral forms in good faith for the purpose for which they are provided. You may not (i) attempt to access systems behind the site that are not publicly served, (ii) use automated tooling that materially burdens the site beyond ordinary indexing, (iii) submit forms with false names or fictional fact patterns, or (iv) use any content from the site to impersonate the firm.
Intellectual property.
The text, layout, illustrations, photography, code, and organization of this site are owned by Johnson Legal PLLC, including content published under the firm's registered assumed name (DBA) Bluegrass Cornerstone (KRS 365.015). You may quote short passages with attribution under fair-use principles. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site, repackage its content as your own, or use the firm's name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or attorney-client relationship that does not exist.
No attorney-client relationship through this website.
Reading this site, sending an email through a link on it, or submitting an intake or referral form does not create an attorney-client relationship with Johnson Legal PLLC. Under SCR 3.130(1.18), you are at most a prospective client until the firm has run a conflict check and you and the firm have signed a written engagement letter.
The firm asks that prospective clients share only general information through the website. Do not transmit privileged details, sensitive documents, or evidentiary materials until the firm has confirmed it can represent you and a written engagement letter is in place. Information you transmit before the relationship is formed is treated under Rule 1.18 (limited duties to prospective clients), not under Rule 1.6 (full confidentiality), and may not establish the protections you expect.
The site is provided “as is.”
The content on this site is general information about Kentucky law and the firm's practice. It is not tailored to any specific person or situation, and we cannot guarantee that it is current, accurate, or complete for your matter. Statutes change. Case law changes. Your facts are different from the facts the site describes. Do not rely on this site as a substitute for advice from a Kentucky-licensed attorney engaged on your matter.
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by Kentucky law, Johnson Legal PLLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. This limitation does not apply to any matter on which the firm has engaged you under a written engagement letter — those duties are governed by the engagement letter and the Kentucky Rules of Professional Conduct, not by these website terms.
Kentucky law applies.
These terms, your use of this site, and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Venue for any claim arising out of these terms lies in the state or federal courts located in Hardin County, Kentucky.
Changes to these terms.
We may revise these terms from time to time as Kentucky law, firm practice, or website features change. The current version is the version posted on this page; the “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
