Text-message terms.

You can text Johnson Legal PLLC at (270) 304-2461. This page explains how our text line works and the terms that apply. Texting is optional — you can always reach the firm by phone or email instead.

How it works

You text us first.

The only way you receive texts from Johnson Legal PLLC is by texting the firm first at (270) 304-2461 — the number published here and on our Contact page. Sending that first text is how you opt in and ask us to reply. We do not buy, rent, or upload phone numbers, we do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never text anyone who has not first texted us.

When you text us, you receive a brief automatic acknowledgment that your message was received, and the attorney then replies personally about your inquiry. Texting is for reaching the firm and scheduling — not for legal advice.

The details

Frequency, rates, and how to stop.

  • Message frequency varies. This is a conversation — how many texts you get depends on your exchange with the firm.
  • Message and data rates may apply — those are charged by your mobile carrier, not by the firm.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts.
  • Reply HELP for help, or reach the firm at (270) 304-2461 or [email protected].
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information

We never sell or share your number.

No mobile information — including your phone number, your text to the firm, or the fact that you opted in — is sold, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. We use it only to reply to you and handle your inquiry, as described in our Privacy policy. Your continued use of this text line is also subject to our Website terms.

Please note

Texting is not legal advice — and not for emergencies.

Text messages to the firm are not a secure or confidential channel and are not monitored around the clock. Do not use text for anything time-sensitive or for an emergency — if you have an emergency, call 911.

Texting the firm does not create an attorney-client relationship, and nothing the firm sends by text is legal advice for your situation. Under SCR 3.130(1.18), you are at most a prospective client until the firm runs a conflict check and you and the firm sign a written engagement letter. Please do not send privileged details, sensitive documents, or the facts of your matter by text; save those for a call or for the intake process once the firm has confirmed it can represent you.
